Pilgrim Virgin

This program originated in Chicago, Illinois by a Servite priest named Father James Keane. Many years ago, on his return from a visit to the Shrine at Fatima, he got the idea that many people would never be able to make the pilgrimage to Fatima for a good many reasons, so he had an exact replica made of the statue at Fatima. He started with visits to the homes each Saturday, and the statue would remain in the home for one week and the family would pray the rosary daily while the statue was in their home.

The program became so popular that soon they had to have many more statues made to fill all of the requests. It quickly spread throughout the world and now there are over 300 statues making the pilgrimage to homes each Saturday.
The program came to St Pius X Parish in 1962 with Mr. Gene Scovil who made St Pius his parish when his employer transferred him to Dallas. He received approval from Father Keane to take a statue with him to Dallas.

She can be your guest for two weeks. The statue will be delivered to and picked up from your home, normally on a Saturday.

The only requirement is that you say the Rosary once each day during the time while she is a guest in your home.
